Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns promptly and courteously, assist guests with gaming needs, inform guests of promotions, recommend additional items, apply selling behaviors during every transaction, and thank guests for shopping at GameStop; circulate throughout the store to prioritize guests over tasks. Support the shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns accurately using the POS system, including handling changes, providing receipts, and ensuring high-quality guest service. Respond to guest comments or questions in person or on the phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop benefits (e.g., new title reservations, trade-ins, Pro Rewards). Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates in company policies and guidelines. Observe associate performance and provide feedback; address unsatisfactory performance as directed. Provide timely recognition and feedback to associates and document written feedback in the HR system in partnership with the Store Manager. Ensure associates complete onboarding and training prior to opening/closing shifts; knowledge of policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, financial protocol, and ethics. Schedule store associates to meet guidelines; supervise staffing to maintain guest service standards. Approve payroll, manage time off and edits, and verify accurate pay. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per guidelines; ensure fixtures and equipment function properly. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily. Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention; inspect packages at closing as needed; report concerns to the Store Manager. Support sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative duties. Perform inventory counts, stock/restock merchandise, and ensure products are represented and organized on the floor. Reconcile daily transactions in the POS system; manage closeout paperwork and ensure sufficient cash for transactions. Verify shipments for discrepancies and conduct inventories; communicate issues to management. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls with proper labeling and packing. Maintain safety awareness and report injuries per guidelines. Maintain store records/files and keep manuals up to date. Supervise and delegate tasks to sales associates and keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager. Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including the Associate Handbook and Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct. Adhere to opening and closing procedures. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate s or bachelor s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred. At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred. Video game knowledge preferred. Outgoing, welcoming personality with strong people skills. Provide genuine and individualized assistance to every guest. Clear verbal and written communication and listening skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and in a team. Meet performance expectations and maintain safety and respectful workplace standards. Operate POS system and basic math and sorting skills. Complete required paperwork properly and follow written or verbal instructions. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays (minimum 3 days/week). Handle pressure constructively and be a problem solver; reliable and trustworthy with good judgment. Able to work alone and stand/move during shifts; physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform related tasks. Benefits
