Expertise in fire sprinkler offerings; serve general contractor customers and end users within territory; estimate and quote systems, prequalify buyers, grow business, travel to customer sites. Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Identify, select, and develop new and existing customer accounts. Maintain effective communication and ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure contractual obligations met, resolve customer problems promptly. Prepare and issue quotes for service and follow up. Contact prospects, qualify buyers, schedule sales calls, follow‑up, apply marketing strategies. Determine customer needs, develop sales strategy, close sales to exceed plan. Read blueprints, understand NFPA 13, 14, 20 standards and local codes. Develop positive relationships with contractors/end users. Coordinate with branch personnel for customer service from order to delivery. Conduct customer surveys; develop and maintain vendor relations. Obtain required licenses and manufacturer certifications. Maintain accurate scheduling, paperwork, and compliance. Continuously enhance sales skills and product knowledge. Read architectural and mechanical drawings for sprinkler locations. Travel to customer and job sites as required. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or business discipline related to sprinkler fire suppression a plus. 2+ years selling service contracts in Fire Protection industry required. Previous sprinkler design experience, estimating, hydraulic calculations a plus. Knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20 required. Knowledge of industry standard practices for service and inspection required. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Compensation
