Regional Sales Manager - Valves & Flow Control (Gulf Coast Region)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the Gulf Coast region. This role is pivotal in driving market growth, managing distributor relationships, and promoting our comprehensive portfolio of valves and flow control products. The ideal candidate will blend strategic planning with hands-on customer engagement to achieve sales targets and strengthen our presence in the industrial sector.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage regional sales initiatives by supporting and developing a network of representatives and distributors.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer accounts.
Visit customers and channel partners regularly, conduct seminars, and facilitate facility tours for key accounts.
Forecast regional sales performance, monitor distributor inventory levels, and ensure supply aligns with demand.
Coordinate the processing of sales leads, quotes, and pricing decisions within company guidelines.
Collaborate with internal teams on project pricing, large account strategies, and technical support.
Support resolution of field service issues by liaising with technical and factory teams as needed.
Plan and coordinate joint customer visits and strategic meetings with distributor leadership.
Conduct training sessions for sales teams and distributors to improve product knowledge and presentation skills.
Maintain detailed records of activities, updates, and market insights using CRM tools, and report regularly to senior leadership.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience; 10+ years of successful sales or sales management in industrial fields such as valves, controls, or flow equipment preferred.
Strong technical aptitude with a consultative sales approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, preferably Microsoft D365.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field environment.
Willingness to travel regularly within the Gulf Coast region.
