Opportunity As a Behavior Specialist, you’ll support children with autism using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You’ll help kids build communication, social interaction, and daily living skills in homes, centers, or community settings, following a personalized plan created by our clinical team. This is a flexible, on-the-go role with training provided and ongoing clinical support. Responsibilities
Conduct 100% of scheduled sessions unless time-off is granted or parents opt out per clinical direction. Provide subbing sessions for other clients to maintain productivity when a session is cancelled, primarily on Saturdays and within the employee’s availability. Accept additional hours or sessions as assigned within availability. Implement individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans per Clinical Director guidance to improve behavior and skill acquisition for clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Travel to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services. Document sessions with thorough notes and timely data entry. Communicate schedule changes and cancellations to the clinical team promptly. Participate in regular meetings and coordinate with Clinical Leaders regarding Treatment Plans, family concerns, and questions. Complete daily clinical documentation (session notes, target data, behavior data) and stay updated on site-related documents and current clinical reports. Remain current with new research and trends in special education and related fields. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and other requested sessions. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
Enjoy working with children and making a difference High School Diploma or GED Flexible availability (Mon-Thu 3-8 pm and Saturdays; high-demand time slots) Complete new hire training online and in person Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella, and COVID per state requirements) Reliable transportation Culturally competent and able to work with diverse populations Effective verbal and written communication Good judgment and decision-making skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow policies and regulations Computer/word processing proficiency Benefits
