Overview The Senior/Lead Enterprise Learning Specialist reports to the Enterprise Training Manager and is responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training and performance improvement initiatives under the general direction of management. This includes the creation of online learning modules, live web-based training sessions, instructor-led training, learning job-aids, and supporting materials following an instructional design process. The Learning Specialist will use strong interpersonal, written, and visual communication skills to bring together text, images, video, and audio to communicate and train our employees, non-employees, and other stakeholders. Advanced Cornerstone LMS knowledge is ideal for day-to-day operations. This is a non-DOT position.

Responsibilities And Essential Duties

Analyze requests for training and suggest the appropriate mode of delivery based on the learning outcome expectations (computer-based, classroom, job-aid, etc.).

Subject matter expert in curriculum development and will have the responsibility to recommend learning methodology by respectfully challenging ideas with alternate solutions.

Analyze, develop, design and evaluate curriculum and associated training materials and methods including classroom, OJT and e-learning to determine which will meet the needs of a multi-generational workforce with various levels of experience and expertise.

Analyze and develop storyboards/flow mapping and make suggestions on improvement of content.

Assist in the development of curricula or programs by client subject matter experts (SMEs) in support of an assigned functional area, consulting often with SMEs.

Utilize eLearning tools to develop web-based training. Advise business groups on appropriate instructional technologies, including online learning/web-based formats.

Proof materials at multiple stages of development and document required changes.

Build and foster stakeholder relationships for assigned client group(s) by holding regular meetings, understanding business requirements, providing fit-for-purpose training solutions, and driving alignment with the overall training strategy.

Work with client group(s) leadership and uses Training Department systems and processes to drive compliance training requirements to ensure regulatory requirements are maintained at 100%.

Work with client group(s) and Training Department(s) to coordinate and schedule training requirements.

Conduct needs assessments, determine training solutions, manage development process, facilitate stakeholder meetings and discussions, and implement solutions for training requests from client group(s).

Use the Learning Management System (LMS) to monitor, track, and analyze progress of learners to adhere to compliance and business requirements as needed.

Knowledge And Skills

In-depth knowledge of eLearning software and systems used to develop learning materials. Proficient knowledge of Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond, and Canva. Basic working knowledge of Cornerstone LMS administration, including report generation, training assignments, and data validation. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Strong knowledge of training needs assessments, different varieties of training interventions, motivational concepts, adult learning theories, instructional design, and project management.

Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS); Cornerstone experience preferred.

Expertise with Articulate Suite, Camtasia, Vyond, or other eLearning authoring tools.

Collaborates well with others and can motivate teams to improve outcomes.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in training, education, or a relevant discipline.

Minimum six (6) years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree. High school diploma or GED required.

Experience as a Learning Specialist or in a related training role; preferably within Oil and Gas or related industry.

Senior Specialist – minimum of four (4) years of experience; Lead Specialist – minimum of seven (7) years of experience.

Work Conditions

Subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Cheniere.

Occasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends.

Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and input from others.
