Northstar Behavioral Health Network specializes in serving individuals with substance use disorders, including Opioid Use Disorder and Stimulant Use Disorder, as well as those needing Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS). Responsibilities
Provide clinical services such as assessments, group therapy, and individual therapy, documenting appropriately per policies and standards. Coordinate care with internal teams (Nursing, Mental Health Providers, Treatment Coordinators, Peer Support) and external entities (Department of Corrections, courts, probation, child protective services, others). Participate in scheduled meetings (clinical, multidisciplinary, individual). Maintain knowledge of co-occurring disorders through continuing education and incorporate skills into treatment. Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisor. Achieve client satisfaction with an average of over 4 clients per month. Maintain outpatient group attendance above 90% (billable units) per track. Implement compliance changes within one week of auditor recommendations. Retain more than 50% of clients monthly. Minimum Requirements
Valid MN LADC/ADC-T licensure. At least 1 year of addiction counseling experience. Understanding of MN statutes related to services for the target population. CPR/First Aid certification (or obtain within 30 days). Ability to pass a background check. Valid driver’s license with acceptable record. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Suite). Familiarity with medication for opioid use disorder model (preferred). Additional training such as DBT-SUD, CBT, MI (preferred). Experience with Procentive or similar electronic health record system (preferred). Additional Details
