Sales Account Manager

to join our team

full-time, on-site

in Devens, MA. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal teams. Key responsibilities include: Generating accurate and timely quotes in collaboration with engineering and operations, ensuring pricing, feasibility, and lead times meet customer and company needs. Preparing and managing routers to ensure proper documentation and communication of project requirements across departments. Managing current customer accounts and growing new customer accounts by developing strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers. Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within target industries (medical, aerospace, defense, RF/microelectronics). Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, handling inquiries, updates, and escalations with professionalism. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality assurance to ensure successful order execution and on-time delivery. Maintain accurate records of all sales activity using our internal CRM system. Develop a strong technical understanding of Accumet’s services and applications to consult with customers effectively. Stay current on industry trends and market developments to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications Strong skills in

customer satisfaction, customer service, and communication . Experience with

account management, quoting, and order documentation (routers or equivalent) . Familiarity with

CRM and ERP/MRP systems

for managing accounts and production flow. Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple accounts and quotes simultaneously. 2-3 years of experience in a sales role. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities. Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required. Experience in manufacturing, materials processing, aerospace/defense, or laser machining industry is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
