Hot Topic Seasonal Key Holder
We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a key holder, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience and ensure that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love.
What You’ll Do
Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return. Use your product knowledge, customer experience skills and fandom to drive add‑on sales.
Step in and provide leadership support when the manager is pulled away.
Understand the store sales plan and compensation goals, and help drive sales by increasing key KPIs: UPT and ADT.
Cover the sales floor zone and ensure that assigned areas are up to visual standards. Assist in the opening and closing of the store.
Work the register; process sales transactions and drive add‑on sales. Close out the register and communicate shortages or overages to the store manager.
Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and relevant HQ partners.
Prevent misuse of “spells” and team wizardry around theft by working with store management.
Maintain the merchandise storage area and keep the store tidy.
Train and coach new sales associates to help them acclimate quickly.
Perform any other activities assigned by the store leader.
What You’ll Need
Previous experience working in a retail environment. Love music and pop culture?
Strong customer service and selling superpowers.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to stand, walk, and reach for merchandise during scheduled hours; lift boxes up to 50 pounds using a ladder, step stool, or pole.
Pay range: $17 - $19.55 an hour.
