Position Title Logistics Outside Sales
Compensation Competitive salary DOE + commission
Location Houston, TX
Summary This individual will surface and grow new and existing accounts and client relationships. Responsibilities include developing and growing client relationships at local plants, attending trade shows and networking events, and calling prospects to develop leads.
Responsibilities
Selling the company’s services within the geographic territory.
Developing a business plan and sales strategy to meet sales goals and profitability.
Creating action plans to penetrate new markets.
Maintaining key customer relationships and expanding the customer base.
Participating in industry trade shows and technical conferences.
Staying informed about company services, technology, and business practices.
Assisting in marketing plan development and implementation.
Experience and Qualifications
3-5+ years sales experience, preferably in the chemical and refinery industry with contacts at various plant locations.
Strong customer service and communication skills (oral and written).
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and in teams with a sense of urgency and accuracy.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
