Responsibilities
Conduct farm visits to evaluate and recommend nutritional programs for dairy and grass cattle
Perform up to 25 farm calls per week to promote and sell feed products
Organize educational meetings and events to enhance brand image and increase sales
Build and maintain relationships with customers and industry professionals
Provide accurate feeding and management recommendations based on industry knowledge
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related agricultural field; or proven sales experience in the industry
Basic understanding of nutritional and feeding recommendations for dairy and grass cattle
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organizational abilities
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and conduct on-farm evaluations in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
Previous sales experience in the agricultural or livestock industry
Active membership in livestock-related clubs or organizations in a leadership role
Strong background in managing and caring for dairy and grass cattle
