Conduct farm visits to evaluate and recommend nutritional programs for cow-calf producers Engage in sales and consulting activities at the farm gate, with up to 25 visits per week Organize and lead educational events for local clubs and organizations to promote brand awareness Develop new client prospects and perform cold calls to increase sales and market share Provide accurate feeding and management recommendations based on industry knowledge What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired Previous sales experience in the agricultural or animal nutrition industry highly desired Basic knowledge of cattle husbandry and nutritional guidelines Competence in using MS Office and willingness to learn software tools like HerdSmart and Salesforce Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Proven sales and industry experience, even without a completed bachelor's degree Strong public speaking skills and ability to network effectively within the industry Experience in organizing educational meetings or events related to animal nutrition or agriculture We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
