This position is located at Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fund in Detroit Arsenal, MI.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will be paid.
Recruitment incentive or bonus in the amount of $2,000 is authorized.
Retention incentive of up to $3,000 is authorized at the end of the first year. Employee must be in good standing through the first full year of employment.
Duties
Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology customer support services.
Participates in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services to the organization, including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Provides analysis and implements suitable measures for hardware/software requirements and problem resolution. Prepares and updates manuals, instructions, and operating procedures, ensuring optimal functionality and operability of systems.
Reports, responds to, and resolves customer requests. Interprets IT policies, standards, and guidelines and applies information security and information assurance policy, principles, and practices in the delivery of all services.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Must possess or obtain (within 6 months of employment) and maintain most applicable Computing Environment (CE) certificates of training.
Plus a minimum Information Assurance baseline security certification of Security+ equivalent (or higher certification) in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Technical, Level II technicians, and DoDM 8140.03, Cyberspace Workforce
Qualification and Management Program within 6 months of hire date.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, to include a physical assessment, Tier III investigation, and Special Agreement Checks.
