Under general supervision, performs routine and recurring assignments in the delivery of Information Technology customer support services. Participates in the planning and delivery of a full range of Information Technology customer support services to the organization, including system hardware/software installations, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Provides analysis and implements suitable measures for hardware/software requirements and problem resolution. Prepares and updates manuals, instructions, and operating procedures, ensuring optimal functionality and operability of systems. Reports, responds to, and resolves customer requests. Interprets IT policies, standards, and guidelines and applies information security and information assurance policy, principles, and practices in the delivery of all services. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Must possess or obtain (within 6 months of employment) and maintain most applicable Computing Environment (CE) certificates of training. Plus a minimum Information Assurance baseline security certification of Security+ equivalent (or higher) in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Technical, Level II technicians, and DoDM 8140.03, Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program within 6 months of hire date. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, to include a physical assessment, Tier III investigation, and Special Agreement Checks. Qualifications

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following: Specialized IT experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training or IT certification which demonstrates skill in applying: principles and methods for integrating information systems components; performance tuning tools and techniques; system diagnostic tool and fault identification techniques; systems administration methods; participating in the planning and delivery of a full range of IT customer support services; installing, configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software components; presenting formal and informal training and assistance to customers; reporting, responding to, and resolving customer requests; and IT security principles. OR Completion of a master\'s degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master\'s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems management, or technology management. In addition, candidates must demonstrate IT-related experience addressing four competencies: Attention to detail; Customer service; Verbal communication; Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
