The position is full-time and based at the corporate headquarters in Piscataway, NJ. This is not a hybrid position and you will work directly for the President/CEO of the Real Estate Development Company. Edgewood Properties, established in 1992, is a real estate development and property management company with corporate headquarters in New Jersey and growth across the nation. The current apartment portfolio is 6,000+ units and is expected to double in the next couple of years, rising to over 12,000 units in five years. The company is seeking qualified candidates to join during this period of rapid portfolio growth. Responsibilities
Work with the CEO on processing and following up with engineers, lawyers, and other professionals to track land use approvals, entitlements, and project management Answer and respond to phone calls; communicate messages to the CEO at the end of each day Prioritize and respond to all emails Maintain the filing system of government approvals and entitlements Organize and prepare agendas and minutes for all meetings relating to tracking government approvals, including sending reminders to responsible parties Prepare and review all mail for the CEO relating to real estate matters Manage the CEO’s calendar when necessary Includes all of the above, but not limited to the listed responsibilities Demonstrate organization and attention to detail Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Flexible schedule Analytical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Time-management skills Ability to pay attention to detail Ability to multitask Qualifications
