Azusa Solutions is seeking a MySQL Database Administrator to join our team of talented consultants. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company comprised of highly qualified, highly impactful, and multi-talented individuals.
Responsibilities
Provide MySQL database administration support
Install and configure new MySQL servers (5.x and 8.x)
Design and develop MySQL stored procedures
Upgrade MySQL databases, both major and minor revisions
Administer MySQL account access, backups and table spaces
Migrate MySQL databases
Monitor MySQL server performance
Skills
10+ years’ experience administering to, and engineering solutions with, Oracle MySQL.
Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent years’ experience.
Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
Must be COMPTIA Security Plus certified
Clearance Active/current TS/SCI with FS Poly required
