Responsibilities

Provide expert-level hardware support for Onto Innovation tools through remote support or on-site assistance

Develop and communicate plans of action and results to internal and external customers

Drive improvements in product support structure through documentation and feedback to design engineers

Train Field Service Engineers on the job and provide input during New Product Development

Support documentation development and qualification criteria during New Product Introduction

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Field Support Service

BS in an electronics discipline or equivalent military experience in a technical field

Proficient in Microsoft Office products and strong troubleshooting background

Ability to travel domestically and internationally with a current Visa or entry permission

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a cleanroom environment

Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes

Previous experience in customer-facing roles within the technology sector

Ability to lift and move components or diagnostic equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
