Controller
to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting. This position offers exposure to both
corporate
and
project-level
accounting and is ideal for someone looking to advance into a leadership role. Location:
On-site in San Antonio, TX Compensation:
$145,000 – $160,000 per year Responsibilities
Responsible for month-end close, prepare and analyze financial statements, and budgets Reconcile and validate entries to balance sheet and income statement accounts Assist in managing working capital, including weekly project cash reports and recording transfers/wires Assemble, submit, and track equity funding or loan draws Support budgeting, forecasting, and project-level financial reporting Assist in developing accounting procedures and strategies to improve record-keeping and reporting Complete forecasting and analysis to ensure accuracy of job cost reports Collaborate with development directors on project budget management Support Controller with audits, compliance, and team leadership initiatives Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA preferred 5+ years of GAAP full cycle accounting experience Experience with Sage or similar ERP accounting software Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail Benefits
