TASCHEN is looking for an experienced and commercially driven
Sales Manager
to join our international sales team, managing and expanding our key accounts in France. Based in
Paris , this role focuses on building strong relationships with our French B2B clients, including major retailers, e-commerce platforms, and independent partners, with a special emphasis on the
publishing and book trade sectors . Manage and grow key accounts in the Frenchmarket across all major distribution channels Lead complex B2B negotiations and developlong-term client partnerships Analyze sales data andfinancial simulations to drive performance and profitability Monitor market trends andcompetition within the publishing and media landscape
Your profile Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Sales,or a related field (bac+3 or equivalent) Proven experience as a KeyAccount Manager or Sales Manager in a competitive product-drivenenvironment Strong knowledge of thepublishing industry and book market in France – experience in theeditorial/book sector is highly preferred Fluent in French and English(both written and spoken) – additional languages are a plus Expertise in B2B negotiationtechniques and navigating complex sales processes Solid understanding of theFrench retail landscape, including food/non-food distribution, onlineretail, and specialty stores Analytical mindset with aperformance- and results-oriented approach Collaborative team playerwith the ability to lead without direct authority
