Thought Leader Liaison - Rare Disease (South Central). Base pay range: $178,500.00/yr - $233,100.00/yr. Kyowa Kirin is a global specialty pharmaceutical company focused on bone and mineral, rare disease, and related areas. North America headquarters are in Princeton, NJ, with offices in CA, MA, and Ontario. This is a field-based, client-facing role focused on identifying and developing enduring relationships with current and emerging key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the U.S. rare genetic metabolic bone disease community. The TLL collaborates with internal teams (Sales, RSMs, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Advocacy, and Market Access) and external stakeholders to execute a National KOL Strategy and Engagement plan in partnership with the Brand Team and cross-functional partners. Responsibilities

Identify and engage regional and national KOLs and HCPs in endocrine, nephrology, and other rare disease specialties to educate and provide solutions for patients. Monitor HCP treatment patterns via sales data and publications; syndicate insights to internal teams and assist in developing educational and promotional activities. Recruit, train, and manage speakers for the commercial message within respective regions; organize speakers bureaus and participate in related activities (product theaters, webinars, print materials, video, training). Serve as a conduit between Home Office and KOL community; collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to align strategies and ensure compliance with internal guidelines. Coordinate with Marketing to identify engagement opportunities and assist with HCP recruitment for service arrangements via approved processes. Attend local, regional, and national engagements; summarize effectiveness and conduct follow-up with HCPs, Sales, and Marketing. Support commercial advisory board activities and organize sponsorships for events (e.g., Grand Rounds, virtual and in-person). Manage Scientific Congress activities: budgeting, contracting, logistics, attendance, and KOL meetings for regional and national congresses. Develop COE engagement plans and facilitate senior leadership interaction with regional and national KOLs; support multidisciplinary team development with TLL. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Science required; advanced degree preferred. Experience: 7+ years in Field Sales, Product Marketing, and/or Medical Affairs within pharmaceutical/biotech; rare disease experience preferred; ability to identify top HCPs for collaborations and patient education; experience in Endocrinology/Nephrology preferred. Skills: Proficiency with MS Office; strong organization, prioritization, communication, and collaboration abilities; ability to lead cross-functional teams; adaptability to dynamic, high-growth environments; cultural sensitivity and consensus-building in a multinational setting. Other: Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally; ability to attend meetings after hours and on weekends approximately 30% of the time. Salary & Benefits

The anticipated salary ranges from $178,500 to $233,100.
