Job Overview Mobile Associates are an integral part of the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They create energy and excitement around products and services, engage customers in a high‑traffic environment, and build deep relationships through meaningful interactions. Mobile Associates excel at identifying customer needs, educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions, while meeting quality sales metrics and excelling in sales performance.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools, effective communication, and showcasing the value of T‑Mobile solutions.
Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and the onboarding process, identifying customer needs and using solution‑based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T‑Mobile products and services.
Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, new skills, products and processes; review personal results, current promotions, and Hub updates to remain Customer Ready at all times.
Customer obsessed: Passionate, friendly, and engaging with customers, building rapport, trust, and loyalty with every interaction; proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales activity, capture referrals, manage Be Back processes, and perform price overrides for specialty offers.
Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set up to device support and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma/GED (Required)
6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; Retail environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Customer Satisfaction: Passionate customer advocate with the desire to be yourself when connecting and having fun with our customers; effective at balancing customer experience and performance goals. (Required)
Team Building: Desire to be part of the game‑changing T‑Mobile store team; willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, sharing best practices and resolving issues. (Required)
Retail Sales: Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment. (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
At least 18 years of age

Safety Sensitive Position (Yes/No): No
Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay.
Within the first 90 days working at T‑Mobile, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Once completed, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year. Actual incentives vary based on performance and full‑time status.
All employees at T‑Mobile are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. Every employee is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
