What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
Qualify leads by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
Establish rapport with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and sales techniques
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service
Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Customer Relationship Management systems
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with peers, superiors, and customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
