Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media Qualify leads by understanding prospects\' needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers Build relationships with educators, emphasizing the value of Scholastic Reading Events Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and stay informed about industry trends What is Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and team members How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities Proven leadership qualities and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution Benefits & Additional Information
