About the Role
As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through the store to actively sell products and provide support and guidance. You will use fashion and product knowledge to give customers information for the best experience. You will also work on garment refill & care, presentation and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are the same. A typical day will include the following responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service: welcome and guide customers through the store and omni experience where available, supporting direct customer service
Engage with customers to provide outstanding service
Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all store areas
Promote and sell products
Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives
Represent the H&M brand positively during customer interactions
Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with store management
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keep up-to-date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers
Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers
Team & Development
Share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues
Follow procedures, routines and legal requirements in all areas of the store
Give and receive feedback to learn, develop and support each other
Participate in onboarding, introductions and trainings relevant for the role and future development
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care
Operate fitting rooms and checkout areas according to best practices
Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house
Support garment presentation and maintain attractive merchandise displays and clear trends & stories according to visual guidelines
Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor
Follow in-store omni services and in-store tech tools and open/close the store
Follow health and safety guidelines and legal requirements relevant to the role
Qualifications
Passionate about fashion and what is created in-store
Motivated by giving customers a great experience
Communicative, creative and curious, flexible, decisive and action-oriented
Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment
Sales experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment relevant to the role
Experience in customer service in fashion, retail or other service-related industries
