An internationally leading packaging company is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and support a team of eight sales representatives across the Northeast region. This hybrid role involves managing and coaching the team remotely, traveling to meet with them in the field, and occasionally coming into the office to collaborate and shape strategy. This is a player-coach position focused on driving revenue growth, improving margins, and expanding market presence in the corrugated packaging industry. While you won't carry your own accounts, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting reps during key meetings and guiding strategic sales efforts.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of 8 sales reps focused on corrugated packaging sales.
Drive business development and margin improvement across diverse product lines.
Support reps in identifying new opportunities and navigating complex sales cycles.
Collaborate with leadership to align sales strategy with broader business goals.
Occasionally travel (15-20%) to meet with reps and customers across the region.
Qualifications and skills
Corrugated packaging sales experience
Minimum 5 years of experience managing sales teams, ideally in corrugated packaging.
Strong understanding of the Northeast packaging markets.
Proven ability to coach, influence, and support high-performing sales teams.
Customer-centric mindset with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.
