Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented
Case Manager Assistant
to join our dynamic personal injury law firm. In this role, you will provide critical support to our case managers and attorneys throughout the pre-litigation process. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of case files, managing lien negotiations and claims, drafting legal documents, tracking key deadlines, and maintaining communication with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties. Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of case files and documentation for pre-litigation.
Manage liens and claims negotiations.
Draft legal documents and correspondence.
Track deadlines and ensure timely filings.
Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
Support case managers and attorneys as needed in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a personal injury law firm or related legal field preferred.
Familiarity with personal injury case processes, including medical liens and pre-litigation procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal case management software (e.g., Smokeball, Filevine, Clio, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
Compensation Compensation: $24-28 per hour
