SOUS CHEF POSITION AT FEARLESS RESTAURANT GROUP Fearless Restaurants is a multi-concept group of artisanal restaurants based in Philadelphia, PA, and Long Beach Island, NJ. We build workplaces with loyalty and respect, and we require like-minded leaders to join our growth journey. Testa Rossa, a bold Italian-American concept, will open at the Shoppes at Brinton Lake and focus on freshly made pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and classic Italian entrees in a vibrant setting. Fearless Restaurants seeks a positive, professional, creative Sous Chef with strong leadership skills to join the team and help mentor a kitchen of 50-75 in a high-volume environment. This role offers opportunities for growth, leadership, and impact on seasonal menu development. Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a Kitchen team of 50-75 in a high-volume setting, driving organization, professionalism, and attention to detail. Collaborate on seasonal menu changes and contribute to dish development. Coach and educate staff with a focus on hospitality, respect, empathy, and dignity. Manage all stations including expo with confidence and teamwork. Prepare nutritious and imaginative Family Meals. Assist with food budgeting and cost optimization. Ensure food safety and quality through proper procedures and training. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of cooking in a professional environment Professional demeanor with strong leadership capabilities Passion for purveyor/local farmer relationships Advanced knife handling skills Strong leadership and people-management abilities Current ServSafe Certification or PA Food Handlers Certificate Creative mindset for menu item development Solid cooking skills and technique Ability to work confidently across all stations including expo Experience with budget awareness and food cost optimization Food safety knowledge and staff education experience Salary/Benefits
