Closing Team Leader - Garner, NC at
Target Pay range: $21.25 - $36.15 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including labor markets, education, work experience and certifications. Model and coach a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience and deliver the service standard. Understand role in sales growth and how each area contributes to store profitability. Lead and reinforce onboarding and learning, close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions. Problem solve and prioritize across multiple business areas to execute store strategies and deliver business results while prioritizing the guest experience. Communicate and collaborate to influence sales performance and workload delivery; utilize daily check-ins and meetings as connection points. Support store operations by ensuring departments are zoned, in-stock, signed and labeled; help set up for the next day. Use business planning tools to share priorities and updates with store leadership. Take action to achieve performance goals and evaluate candidates for open positions to build a guest-centric team. Support onboarding and learning; close skill gaps through development and coaching. Establish clear goals and expectations and hold team members accountable; partner with leaders for feedback. Follow all safety, security and compliance processes; address store emergencies as needed. Model ethical conduct, safety and compliance and lead the team to uphold these standards. Demonstrate a safety culture through safe behaviors, hazard identification, incident response, and timely reporting/investigation of injuries. Greet guests and engage with them to address needs and provide a welcoming experience. Support merchandise protection strategies, ordering, storage and application as directed by best practices. Support guest services such as order pickup and Drive-Up orders with compliance to applicable laws. Perform other duties based on business needs. Qualifications
You enjoy interacting and helping others—guests and teammates. You thrive in a fast-moving, active role requiring teamwork, flexibility and problem solving. You can work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times. Previous retail experience is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old. Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate scanners and other technology. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; manage workload and prioritize tasks; maintain a welcoming attitude and effective communication. Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks within timeframes. Benefits
