MMC Group is hiring for an Outside B2B Sales Representative for IT Managed Services for our client opening a new office in Kansas City, MO!
The client provides various IT Solutions across 18 markets in the U.S., and is looking to open up a new market in Kansas City, MO! This role will focus on selling B2B Software solutions to Small and Medium sized businesses in and around the Kansas City market. The main clients are local governments, schools, and healthcare, but any business needing IT solutions is a potential customer, so hunter mentality and drive to network is key to success in this role.
This role will focus on selling their Managed IT Services, which includes Cybersecurity, Online and 24/7 phone, chat, and onsite support, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Health Monitoring & Proactive Maintenance, MS 365 & Azure, Hardware Standardization, Strategic Technology Planning, and more.
What You'll Do:
Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting efforts to source and secure new clients for
Managed Network Services
in the telecom space. Build and maintain strong B2B client relationships, transforming prospects into long-term clients. Stay up-to-date with our Managed Services offerings, hardware, and software to effectively match solutions to client needs. Collaborate with document output sales counterparts to identify new opportunities within existing accounts. Meet and exceed budgeted project and services revenue goals for assigned accounts. Enhance current networking solutions while contributing to the development of new, innovative offerings. Identify and execute upsell opportunities, expanding contracts into more comprehensive solutions. Develop new IT business opportunities with a focus on telecom partnerships while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related needs, ensuring clients are supported and informed. Provide high-level oversight of clients' technology environments and proactively address gaps, vulnerabilities, and issues. Identify support gaps in managed IT services and present tailored solutions to clients, driving revenue growth. Stay current with technology trends and leverage that knowledge to deliver superior client solutions. React quickly and effectively to network emergencies and client requests. Advocate for clients within the organization, ensuring their feedback drives continuous improvement. Requirements: 5+ years of sales of related technologies, with a focus on managed IT services and telecom. High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree highly preferred. Expertise in Managed Network Services, virtualization solutions, Cisco infrastructure, HP solutions, and Microsoft OS/apps. Ability to engage with executive-level and IT stakeholders, delivering impactful presentations and solutions. Strong technical aptitude, quick learner, and enthusiastic adopter of new technologies. Team-oriented mindset with exceptional communication, proposal writing, and multitasking skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and align internal resources to meet client needs. Pay: $50-60k base (Open to discussing for seasoned candidates with notable sales history), uncapped commissions based on closed sales; OTE is $90k+ for 1st year, with many in other markets making well over $120k+ within first 2 years.
