Position Summary ofi is seeking a driven and customer-focused Regional Account Manager to build and grow partnerships with regional and emerging chain restaurants, particularly in the QSR and fast casual segments. This role is responsible for driving operator sales and securing new business. The ideal candidate combines strong selling skills, deep knowledge of the foodservice industry, and the ability to deliver operator-focused solutions that create value and drive growth. This position requires close collaboration with distributor partners and internal cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution and operator satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities
Account Development & Growth
Build and manage relationships with decision-makers at regional QSR, fast casual, and emerging chain accounts.
Drive menu adoption and incremental case volume across assigned operators.
Develop and execute customer business plans that align with client needs and company objectives.
Expand through innovation, new menu placements, and LTO activations.
New Business Acquisition
Identify, prospect, and secure new operator accounts in targeted segments.
Leverage market insights and distributor partnerships to uncover opportunities.
Deliver compelling operator presentations and product demonstrations to win new business.
Relationship Management
Serve as the primary contact for regional chains, ensuring exceptional client support and follow-through.
Partner with operators on product performance, promotional opportunities, and menu innovation.
Build collaborative relationships with distributor account sales executives to maximize market coverage.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Create and execute annual operator growth strategies for assigned accounts.
Support customer marketing initiatives, menu development, and promotional programs.
Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams to deliver customer-specific solutions.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting
Provide accurate sales forecasts, tracking operator business by product, chain, and distributor.
Report progress, wins, pipeline activity, and competitive trends through Salesforce.
Market Intelligence
Monitor industry and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Stay informed on consumer trends, menu innovation, and regional QSR/fast casual developments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with supply chain, operations, finance, culinary marketing and customer service to ensure reliable execution.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
Five (5) years of experience in day-to-day management of large, complex food processing, manufacturing or foodservice accounts
Business-to-business sales experience, strong general business capabilities, P&L management and analytical/technical skills
Experience managing relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Strong self-initiative with the ability to operate at a high level with minimal supervision
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels
Compensation & Benefits ofi provides employees with a comprehensive & competitive benefits package designed to support your career, health, and future. The pay for this role ranges from $95,000 – $126,000 annually and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and other determining factors.
