Staff Product Manager (Acquisition & Pricing) at Grubhub. Lead the strategy of merchant targeting and acquisition, emphasizing top performing merchants at a hyper local level. Also support pricing and packages to ensure merchant value. This role is critical for the scalable growth of the platform and enabling diners to connect with restaurants. Responsibilities
Crafting and defining the strategy in partnership with the business for targeting and acquisition growth—defining new opportunities and working with executive leadership, engineering, and cross-functional teams to advance goals and KPIs. Owning and executing projects with vague and complex requirements by digging into details with diverse teams to create clarity, articulating problem statements and goals, and ensuring solutions meet objectives. Actively seeking opportunities for expansion by developing new business relationships and leveraging existing products to broaden the addressable market. Engaging in stakeholder management, working effectively with leaders at various levels, including VP-level and the CEO, adapting communication to the audience. Developing and implementing go-to-market strategies to ensure development outcomes create impact, including risk calculations and trade-offs. Identifying team bottlenecks and improving practices, processes, and tools to enhance team efficiency. What You Bring To The Table
5+ years of relevant work experience in digital product management or directly adjacent roles within an Agile environment. Direct experience with large-scale sales organizations, data science, onboarding funnels and CRM. Targeting, acquisition and pricing experience is a bonus. Data fluency and data-driven decision-making abilities, with strong analytical and quantitative skills, using data to support assumptions, drive action, and monitor product health, including experience with SQL. Deep technical understanding for your domain of product development, with advanced understanding at architecture and system levels. Experience collaborating with C-level executives across technology, marketing, sales, operations, and finance; strong written and verbal communication. Ability to work out loud to arrive at solutions collaboratively and prototype quickly to prove hypotheses; thrive with ambiguity and clarity from chaos. Ownership-driven mindset with a track record of high-quality execution and ability to influence outcomes beyond direct reporting lines. The base salary for this position is below. New York: $193,500 - $203,000. Salary may vary by location; final offer considers candidate skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
