Responsibilities
Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach Qualify leads by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers Build and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system Work closely with the sales team to align outreach strategies and continuously improve sales techniques
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, or customer service Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management systems Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with peers, superiors, and customers
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities Demonstrated leadership abilities and qualities in previous roles Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
