The Sr Cost Analyst will support the Plant Controller and serve as a key operational finance partner for the manufacturing facility in Wayne, NJ. Responsibilities include supporting the monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, operational controlling (including manufacturing reporting, inventory & fixed assets management), and maintaining internal controls. The role also drives digital and continuous improvement initiatives, supports planning and budgeting, and collaborates across teams to ensure accurate financial performance reporting. Responsibilities
Monthly Close Process: Perform journal entries, financial results reporting, and analysis in line with group deadlines. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct reconciliations in accordance with group policies and deadlines. Operational Controlling: Partner with operations on manufacturing/spending variance analysis, work order reporting, variance reporting, and product costing. Inventory Control: Lead inventory control processes including cycle counts, physical audits, and obsolescence review. Fixed Assets: Maintain a controlled fixed asset position and collaborate with project managers on status and required actions. Digitalisation/Continuous Improvement: Drive local finance digital/improvement projects aligned with the broader finance vision. Support Plant Controller: Assist with ad hoc requests, annual plan, budget & standard cost development; engage with supervisors, plant leadership, and senior management to provide clear financial performance insights. WCM Support: Partner with operations to ensure accurate savings tracking in the project tracker. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field required; Master's degree preferred; CPA preferred. 5+ years of experience in: Financial Reporting and Analysis, including monthly close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. Operational and Inventory Control experience: manufacturing variance analysis, product costing, inventory audits, and fixed asset management. Cross-functional Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: ability to partner with operations, support internal controls, and drive digital finance initiatives across teams. Deep MS365 Knowledge, including Power BI & Power Query; experience with broader financial digital tools (e.g., Wands) and QAD ERP preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Legal Statement

Certain locations require pay information in job postings. The base pay range for this position is $79,500 to $123,500, with variation by geography, internal equity, knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for an annual bonus; the targeted bonus is 10% of base salary. The Total Target Cash range is $87,400 to $135,800. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package and flexible options to suit individual needs.
