The Sr Cost Analyst serves as a key operational finance partner supporting business plans and decisions through monthly close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, operational controlling, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

Monthly Close Process: Perform journal entry posting and financial results reporting & analysis in line with group deadlines.

Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform reconcilia­tions in line with group policies and deadlines.

Operational Controlling: Partner with operations on manufacturing and spending variance analysis, work‑order reporting, variance reporting, and product costing.

Inventory Control: Lead inventory control processes and resolutions including cycle counts, physical audits, and obsolescence review.

Fixed Assets: Maintain a controlled fixed asset position and partner with project managers to confirm project status and required actions.

Digitalisation/Continuous Improvement: Partner/drive key local finance digital/improvement projects to support the broader finance vision.

Support Plant Controller with ad‑hoc requests, annual plan, budget and standard cost development. Proactively interact with supervisors, plant leadership, and senior management to ensure an accurate picture of overall financial performance.

WCM Support: Partner operations to support accurate savings and tracking calculations in the project tracker.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field required.

Master’s degree preferred.

CPA preferred.li>

5+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, monthly close processes, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Experience with operational and inventory control, manufacturing variance analysis, product costing, inventory audits, and fixed asset management.

Cross‑functional collaboration and continuous improvement skills; strong communication and project‑management abilities.

Deep MS365 knowledge including PowerBI & Power Query.

Broader financial digital tools and QAD ERP experience preferred.

Benefits Base salary range: $79,500 to $123,500, with an annual bonus target of 10 % of base salary. Total target cash range: $87,400 to $135,800.
