SNI is seeking a
Accounting Supervisor
to join our client, a well-established
credit union in Jacksonville, FL . This role will oversee the daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong accounting background and the ability to guide and mentor staff.
Direct-hire, full-time opportunity
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting team operations, ensuring accurate workflow and financial transaction processing
Perform and review general ledger reconciliations and financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and credit union regulations, including BSA and OFAC requirements
Partner with outsourced vendors for accounting and card functions; resolve discrepancies and support audits
Coach and develop accounting staff, promoting growth and performance excellence
Qualifications
2+ years of credit union or banking accounting experience
1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s preferred
Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills; knowledge of credit union products/services preferred
