Bookkeeper
Our client is currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have experience with full-cycle bookkeeping, strong familiarity with accounting software (especially QuickBooks), and a solid understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation practices.
Base pay range $30.00/hr - $34.00/hr
Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day financial records and ensure accuracy across all transactions
Prepare and review monthly financial statements
Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Post journal entries and manage general ledger adjustments
Record asset acquisitions, dispositions, and ownership changes
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with budgeting and audit preparation as needed
Communicate with internal stakeholders or vendors regarding invoices, payments, and documentation
Ensure compliance with standard accounting procedures and internal controls
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
