We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable
Banquet Department Assistant
to join our team. This role is key to ensuring seamless event execution by supporting the Banquet Captain and assisting with all aspects of event setup and preparation. Responsibilities
Assist the Banquet Captain with day-to-day banquet operations. Prepare event spaces by setting tables, chairs, linens, and décor according to floor plans. Set up buffet stations, coffee breaks, beverage stations, and other event stations as required. Assist in staging and preparing rooms for conferences, banquets, weddings, and special events. Maintain organization and cleanliness of banquet areas, storage rooms, and equipment. Ensure supplies are stocked and ready for each event. Provide excellent service and support to ensure guest satisfaction. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Banquet Captain or management. Qualifications
Previous hospitality, event, or banquet experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions. Ability to lift and move banquet equipment, tables, and chairs. Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require.
