Business Analyst II – Overview
Zurich North America is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to support a portfolio of commercial and underwriting insurance applications within the Large Property and Casualty UW Systems team at our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. The role involves translating business needs into functional and technical specifications, supporting 2nd‑level production support, requirements gathering, integration testing, implementation, and training throughout the application lifecycle. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT to translate requirements into technical specifications for application updates, enhancements, and compliance initiatives. Support 2nd‑level production support for multiple applications, ensuring that original requirements are met. Coordinate design, construction, and implementation of application updates, maintaining system performance and data integrity. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel Experience with Business Systems Integration Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Preferred Qualifications
SQL querying experience Knowledge of P&C insurance products Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills Ability to manage changing priorities Experience with change management tools/methodologies In-depth testing scenario execution experience Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $71,060.00 – $116,490.00, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%. This range is based on local market factors and is not adjusted for geographic differentials. Benefits and Perks
