Segrera Associates is looking for an Accounts Payable / Bookkeeper who will be responsible for the day-to-day financial transactions of the company, with a focus on accounts payable, vendor management, and accurate record keeping. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction or building materials industry and be comfortable working in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into accounting system Ensure proper approvals and matching with purchase orders/delivery tickets Schedule and process payments (checks, ACH, credit card) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain W-9 forms and assist with 1099 preparation Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Enter and classify daily financial transactions Maintain general ledger and assist in month-end closing Track job costs and ensure accurate allocation to projects Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements (if applicable) Requirements:
2+ years of accounts payable/bookkeeping experience Familiarity with job costing and construction project accounting (a plus) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Experience with Accounting software, preferable Netsuite The base pay range for this position is $50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr.
