About The Role Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable
Accounts Payable Specialist
for a
temporary assignment . This position will support the accounting team by managing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using RAMP and a solid understanding of AP processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
Maintain organized and accurate AP records and documentation
Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure timely disbursements
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and inquiries
Assist with month-end closing tasks, including AP reporting and account reconciliations
Support the accounting team with other administrative or financial tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting role required
Proficiency with RAMP or other AP automation platforms strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
