This position offers a generous

base

of $85,000 to $95,000 with some flexibility (commensurate with relevant experience) and a quarterly and annual incentive opportunity that has the potential to add a significant amount to your total compensation annually. You will also be eligible for the company's incredible benefits package, which includes a 401k with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 8% with immediate vesting and an additional employer contribution after the first year that grows to an additional 6% over 15 years of service! Work from home Seeking an experienced Distribution Representative in Commercial Lines based in Maryland to work closely with existing and new distribution partners to secure new business. Meet regularly with agency and brokerage distribution partners to pursue additional business in various market sizes. Existing relationships in Maryland are preferred to facilitate agency appointments and growth. Recommend and sign up new commercial line distribution partners, review competitor plans, and coordinate underwriting and pricing strategies. Assist with contracting, onboarding, and terminating agencies and brokers as needed. Coordinate and lead meetings for new business proposals, annual planning, and key account discussions. Attend corporate functions and industry events. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, industry operations, and market specifics, especially in NYC. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills; capable of managing multiple clients and tasks; effective communicator. Experience: At least 5 years of commercial insurance experience in roles such as Commercial Lines Marketing, Sales, Underwriting, Distribution, or Relationship Management, with a proven sales record in the specified territories. License: Active license required or must be obtained within a specified timeframe. Additional Details
