at Virginia Beach City Public Schools – part‑time (0.5 FTE) for the 2025‑2026 school year. Responsibilities
Assist the physical education teacher with instructional activities and classroom management. Maintain student behavior standards and provide an environment conducive to learning. Support safety habits during activities and supervise equipment and playground use. Help with data collection, student records, and office assistance tasks. Serve as locker room attendant and maintain equipment storage. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 48 college credits, Associate’s Degree, or passing the Paraprofessional Assessment test. Prior experience working with children preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable attendance essential. Physical Requirements
Frequent sitting, walking, standing, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Regular adherence to established work schedules. How to Apply
