The University of Georgia is seeking a Research Funding Administrator to provide pre- and post-award contracts and grants support for the principal investigators in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. Job Summary : This position will serve as a liaison between the Franklin College Business Office and UGA’s Office of Sponsored Project Administration. The successful candidate will provide pre- and post-award support, manage faculty-specific funds, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and university policies. Provide pre- and post-award contracts and grants support for principal investigators Manage faculty-specific funds, including start-up, IDC return, and foundation funds Ensure compliance with federal, state, and university policies Coordinate and manage multiple competing projects in an organized and efficient manner Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience. Preferred Qualifications : Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, pivot charts, and tables. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Duties/Responsibilities :

Pre-Award : Assist faculty in preparing and processing grant proposals, create budgets, and ensure accuracy of budgets.

Post-Award : Account management, monthly reconciliation, and ensuring grant activities and expenditures are in accordance with federal, state, and university policies.

Approvals and Compliance : Serve as departmental approver in the UGA Financial Management system and ensure compliance with UGA financial processes and standards.
