$55MM About Our Client Our client is a dynamic, growth-oriented company in the
construction and energy infrastructure industry , committed to innovation and operational excellence. Position Summary The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes. This individual will serve as a key leader within the organization—providing strategic financial insight while remaining hands‑on with day‑to‑day accounting management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, evolving business environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle accounting, including AR, AP, month-end close, and reconciliations Manage corporate insurance, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting Coordinate bonding and security requirements Ensure adherence to GAAP and maintain robust internal controls Support construction-related accounting and job cost management Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 direct reports (team structure may evolve) Collaborate closely with leadership to provide insight into financial performance Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Strong technical accounting skills with experience in the construction industry Proven ability to manage financial reporting, forecasting, and month-end close Experience implementing and maintaining internal controls Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills Hands‑on and collaborative working style Inventory management experience Flexible and adaptable mindset Preferred Qualifications CPA certification Background in public accounting Tax exposure or experience Culture Fit Open‑minded, teachable, and eager to grow Thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment Excited to build and improve systems and processes Operates with ownership, accountability, and initiative Values collaboration and teamwork Salary:
$150K–$170K
