You will work with the General Manager to align the entire team on driving sales, providing an excellent client experience, building strong talent and ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively. Your ability to combine entrepreneurial spirit, passion for the brand and knowledge of the luxury/retail business with organizational skills to manage the store will greatly influence the client and associate experience. As an Assistant General Manager, you will provide input on merchandising, marketing, and client relationship strategies. Your daily presence on the sales floor will help you understand the business on the front line, and you will have the opportunity to use insights to improve the store’s business. You will shape and execute store strategies to build trusting relationships with clients and associates to drive revenue. You will be accountable for ensuring appropriate communications are cascaded throughout the team. To succeed, you should lead by example with integrity, collaborate, be intellectually curious, strategic, lead through ambiguity and change, and be results oriented. Provide leadership and direction to a diverse sales and leadership team to drive sales and deliver an excellent client experience. Collaborate with the General Manager to align team efforts across merchandising, marketing, client relationships and store operations. Lead by example on the sales floor and use frontline insights to improve store performance. Shape and execute store strategies to build trusting relationships with clients and associates to drive revenue. Ensure effective internal communications and cascading information throughout the team. Oversee end-to-end store management including labor and supply budgeting. Qualifications & Skills
Minimum three (3) years of experience in a similar retail management role. College/post-secondary degree preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence partners and motivate direct reports. Experience in executing Sales Management Trainings and Presentations. Proficiency with Retail Systems and Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Open availability and flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends. Language skills such as Italian, Spanish, French, Mandarin or other are considered a strong asset. The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $21.00 plus the opportunity to participate in a bonus or commission plan depending on brand, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, paid time off, employee discount and retirement plans with employer contributions. Availability of benefits may depend on location and employment type and may have eligibility requirements. Salaries will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
