Job Title: Coordinator, Human Resources Job Pay Range: $16.00-$18.00

The position of Human Resources Coordinator will assist with developing and enhancing team member’s experience at The BROADMOOR through exemplary support and guidance to employees throughout their tenure. This position will assist with the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources Office and HR Systems functions in order to facilitate an increasing efficient and valuable HR support function for the resort.

What you will be doing

Answer and appropriately field all incoming calls to the Human Resources Office.

Assist the HR Operations, Culture & Engagement and Training teams with scheduling and employee related inquiries.

Assist in processing employee disciplinary and termination records.

Prepare and manage employee paperwork and confidential files.

Assist with administrative tasks and execution of Culture & Engagement events and activities.

Assist with Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks for employees to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with Payroll by providing accurate and timely HR-related information needed for processing employee compensation.

Maintain HR office and HR Waiting Room in a clean and organized fashion.

Keep Human Resources SOP’s updated and add new ones as needed.

Responsible for the maintenance of all employee related data.

Responsible for the overall accuracy of all data entry into HRIS system, including new hires, rehires, promotions, transfers, status changes, benefit enrollments and terminations.

Execution of all daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting.

Assist with training, scheduling, and tracking of training course completion.

Assist employees in a five-star manner as needed on a walk-in or phone basis.

Assist employees with care fund paperwork.

Tracks employees’ Drivers’ Licenses, policy acknowledgments and other situations as needed.

Intake and document incoming employee investigations.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Other duties as assigned by HR Manager, Director, or Vice President.

What we are looking for

High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree or completed coursework preferred.

Minimum one year experience in customer service or administrative role required. Experience in Human Resources or Hospitality operations preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) as well as other web-based platforms required.

Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others

Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability and comfort speaking to large groups

Occasional heavy lifting (between 10-50 lbs.) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times

Must be available to work regular schedule of Monday through Friday with regular operating hours 8:30am-5:00pm Some Saturdays may be necessary
