hands-on Controller / Bookkeeper

who can help drive that next phase forward. The Opportunity

At this stage, you'll be

deep in the day-to-day financials

- managing bookkeeping, cash flow, reporting, and job cost tracking. But as we scale, this role will evolve into

a true leadership position

, building out a small accounting and admin team to support rapid expansion. We need someone who's not just comfortable in the details - but thrives on creating clarity, structure, and strategy from them. Manage

day-to-day bookkeeping

, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations Oversee

job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reports

, and financial tracking by project and brand Develop and maintain

cash flow forecasts

, budget vs. actual reports, and key financial dashboards Coordinate with ownership and department heads on

financial planning, cost control, and forecasting Manage and optimize systems within

QuickBooks Online, JobTread, and related tools Prepare

monthly and quarterly financial statements

for review with leadership Ensure

compliance and accuracy

across all financial transactions and records Lead or support

banking, credit, and insurance relationships As growth continues,

recruit and manage additional accounting staff Who You Are

Minimum

5+ years of experience

in accounting, bookkeeping, or controller roles Strong understanding of

construction or design-build accounting

(job costing, WIP, etc.) Experience with

QuickBooks Online

and ideally a

construction project management system

(Job Tread) Analytical thinker who enjoys

creating structure in fast-moving environments Proven track record supporting or leading a company through
