Community Association Manager

Resource Property Management (RPM) is currently seeking Full-time Portfolio Managers in Pinellas and Manatee County. We are a family-owned and operated management firm with corporate offices located in Seminole, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and Lakewood Ranch. We have been awarded the Tampa Bay Times Top Workplace award for two consecutive years and have been in business for over 30 years.
Candidates must possess:
excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong supervisory experience, and the ability to multi-task, perform property inspections, prepare the association’s annual budget, and handle membership and board meeting notices. Requirements:
Active Florida CAM license and at least 1-2 years of experience as a Community Association Manager. Core Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare the initial draft of the annual budget within the specified timeline, and obtain approval from the supervisor before distribution to Board/Committee members. Obtain bids and proposals for on-site work. Maintain all association-related insurances and explore financing options if required. Attend all board and membership meetings or arrange coverage/reschedule with board approval if unable to attend. Notify supervisor of any changes. Prepare a board meeting package including manager’s report, agenda, minutes, bids, etc., and email it to the board at least 3 days prior to the meeting. Monitor expenses and approve invoices in Vantaca. Review monthly financial statements for accuracy and compliance with budgets. Communicate upcoming projects or construction onsite to residents via email or postings. Communicate with the board president and members regarding issues and concerns. Prepare annual performance evaluations for direct reports. Report work-related injuries to Human Resources immediately. Assist the board in engaging third-party service providers such as grounds maintenance and pools. Provide excellent customer service courteously, timely, and efficiently. Return phone calls and emails within 24-48 hours. Immediately report any client discontent related to management to corporate. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President, RPM management, or board president. References, criminal background check, and drug screening are required.
