The Staff Accountant will support Finance department managers in various aspects of accounting and financial reporting.
This role offers a hybrid arrangement, with work primarily at our office in Archbold, Ohio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with import accounting, including reconciling bank statements, analyzing General Ledger accounts, running shipping reports, auditing monthly reports, and tracking DI shipments and sales. Support fixed asset, tax, risk management, and payroll accounting tasks such as recording acquisitions, monitoring depreciation, handling tax reporting, and payroll entries. Assist with treasury and accounts receivable functions, including Canadian tax transactions, lockbox activities, credit metrics, and cash forecasts. Contribute to general ledger and financial reporting, including entries, account analysis, reconciliations, month-end closing, and supporting external audits. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university. 0-3 years relevant experience; CPA in progress preferred. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP and Crystal Reporting is a plus. PAY SUMMARY
Range: $45,000 - $60,000, based on experience and skills. The listed maximum is not necessarily the top salary. We encourage applicants to apply even if they do not meet all listed requirements.
