A global manufacturer is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Accounting and Finance team. This role supports the controller in key accounting tasks, including budget preparation and audit data gathering, contributing to the company's financial management and growth. Post-training, a hybrid work schedule is offered.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting activities, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations. Manage end-to-end intercompany accounting processes, including transaction recording, reconciliations, and settlements. Analyze and resolve intercompany balance discrepancies across multiple entities and ERP systems. Prepare schedules and documentation for the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts. Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to implement cost reduction strategies. Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and prepare reports. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred. 7-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (advanced functions such as Pivot Tables). Experience with Oracle Fusion and Microsoft D365 required. Strong financial analysis, audit preparation, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Seniority level
