Overview Dolce & Gabbana, a global leader in luxury fashion and beauty, is seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join its Beauty Division. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to support the Finance team during a dynamic and fast‑paced period, ensuring seamless financial operations. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, supporting month‑end close activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Month‑End Close: Lead month‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

General Ledger Management: Maintain and analyze the general ledger, ensuring proper classification and posting of transactions.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reporting.

Intercompany Transactions: Reconcile and manage intercompany accounts, supporting the consolidation process.

Audit Support: Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.

Budget & Forecast Support: Assist in financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting cycles.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance data accuracy and efficiency.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards (US GAAP or IFRS).

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance and Global teams to maintain financial accuracy and data consistency.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.

5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in consumer packaging goods industries.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Advanced proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant platforms.

Experience working with high‑volume data and performing detailed reconciliations.

Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
